• New incentive

As some of you may know, money's always an issue for me. I'm not poor, but I wouldn't mind have a few more quid in my pocket.

And when I looked around, appalled by my mess, I noticed that I have quite a few things here that I could actually sell instead of hiding them.

So I just need to clean up a bit more and then I'll advertise some stuff in the paper. This way I can get rid of my old washing machine (freeing up space in my small bathroom), some furniture, maybe even a few plants, some books, and lots of unnecessary, dust-catching brics-a-brac. My mom used to buy them for me as presents, but I don't like overladen rooms (she does), so most of them are in the basement now.

Selling all the unwanted stuff will a) clear my flat, and b) bring in some money!

    Woohoo!! :))

  • Quiet

Have you noticed how quiet it's been on this blog? *cough*

But my mess REALLY gets on my nerves. I stumble over stuff everywhere I go, so much crap is lying around, and I can't find anything and my cupboards / lockers are full and ...

    *sigh*

So I MUST get a grip on myself again and do a little bit at a time, every day, and eventually I'll reach my goal of a clean flat.

*she says, sat at the computer, blogging away happily...* :>>

  • Tip-toeing

Yesterday I finally managed again to tip the floor with my toes this way

    YAY!! *does mad dance*

    Don't laugh!! It's easy when you're younger and/or well-trained, but for me ... *cough* ;D

  • *Ouch*

Added a new routine yesterday for my back - now I'm sore ... *limps away in pain*

    :b

  • Too tired

Although I enjoy the feeling of a toned body (even in its early stages), exercising does cause me one problem: extreme tiredness. It's not so bad if I don't do any sports in the morning.

And my exercises are very light! Only 1,400 paces of very fast walking, then some (light) build-up of muscles, and lastly some yoga moves. It's nothing compared to real sports. And yet, whenever I exercise in the morning, I'm soooooo tired during the day that I spent most of it sleeping! Not good

In the past, I've always had low iron (hb) levels, which in principle means that my body didn't have enough oxygen and I get out of breath very quickly.

Will get my blood checked today just to see if this is the cause of my current tiredness too. If not, then I wonder what it could be?

  • Some success, lots of failure

Now how in the world do you fight laziness??

By now I should have already finished my kitchen and started on a few other messy corners - but I haven't.

Thursday I spent most of the day sleeping (why?), Friday I was at work (it was my boss's farewell party), and Saturday I spent mainly sleeping again.

Does the exercising make me so tired? I do fall asleep again within an hour after the exercise, and I always do that in the morning. I probably need to change the time to "late in the evening"

But naw, that's probably not the reason - I'm just too fucking lazy!

Well, at least I am doing my exercise regularly, and I have lost one kilo and built up some muscles already. *beams*

So - kitchen today. I want my living room floor to be visible again :D

  • Old, older ...

I finally found the oldest item that was hiding in my kitchen.

It's a can of "Old El Paso" refried beans with an expiration date of ...

actually, I have a new "Burrito Dinner Kit", I wonder if ...

  • OMG!

I can't believe how much CRAP I have!!

I just emptied out most of the cupboards in my kitchen - bloody hell! I found ancient stuff (which I threw away, of course), stuff I didn't even know I had, things that I first have to try to know what they are and if they're still good ...

    Jeezus H. Christ!

Time was more than ripe to clean out the kitchen. I now gave up (for the day) because I simply don't know where to put things anymore, the living room floor is almost full.

    Unbelievable!

Now I first must use up all the things that I already have, and from now on I will only buy items that are out! And not stack them. Sheesh!

  • Tue, 16 Sep 08

Man, I'm both stuffed (from the pizza) and knackered today. I think I slept too long - and I really shouldn't have gotten up at 1 (am, of course) to watch some TV show.

So, no exercise today but lots of things to do: the plumber will come this afternoon at 2, so I MUST clean up some of the messy corners a bit more.
Then I need to do some shopping, and to make up for not doing any exercise this morning, I will walk to the shop - it is a nearly-20-minute walk one-way!
Ok, ok, I know that's nothing, but more than what I've done before :)

On the way to the shop, I'll pass by a bank that I'm considering switching to. My current bank was sold in parts to hate-figure #1, and I don't want to stuff my hard-earned money up his greedy ass! That arrogant twat.

And last but not least I really must clean that aquarium - the poor fish!

And now I'm off to the shop

    *bussis to you*

  • Mon, 15 Sep 08

I stuck to the morning regime: had some soy milk, took a brisk 15-minute walk to warm up and did do my exercise :D

But then I slacked. I had planned to finish re-organizing and cleaning my kitchen and clean my aquarium - didn't do either. *hangs head in shame*

Must be due to the weather change *cough*

I didn't even cook! And I found such a delicious recipe for Fish Molee. But I did something to help clean out my deep-freezer: I had a pizza in the evening *blushes*

Well - I had to get rid of it somehow!!! :b
